Now that the weather is warming up it is time to try your coffee and tea on ice. Our local coffee shops all have great varieties for you to try. I think O'Henry's iced coffee is particularly delicious. If you aren't in the mood for coffee or tea many places offer smoothies. Seattle Drip has some excellent fruit smoothies and you don't have to get out of your car!

Here are a couple of recipes you can try at home:
This is from recipezaar.com. It is a very simple recipe that you can suit to your taste. I like the tip of using coffee to make ice cubes so your iced coffee doesn't get watered down!

I love coffee. (you're shocked, I can tell) I like to keep a pitcher of this in my fridge, especially during the summer.

3¼ hours 10 min prep
SERVES 6 -8
6-8 cups strong coffee
1 (14 ounce) can
sweetened condensed milk
Combine brewed coffee and sweetened condensed milk in a large pitcher.
Refrigerate until chilled.
Serve over ice.
TIP- Use leftover coffee to make coffee ice cubes with.
Then you have the chill without getting watered down.
